PYSDENS 108.3: We kindly invite Mr. Kunio Mikuriya Secretary – General of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) and Mr. Ban Ki – moon Secretary – General of the United Nations (UN) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) to read our press release 108.3 In our opinion the law needs to be an important component of global economics and appears to have been overlooked. The international/world organisations must consider the potential detrimental economic consequences when creating laws and regulations. We do hope that our comments are reviewed by the WCO / UN / UNCITRAL. We have observed how, in general, the “Rotterdam Rules” if they come into force and the WCO Authorised Economic Operator programme could lead to the same or similar consequences that arose in the financial sector and caused economic crisis on a global basis.
